Shadow Viper was released as part of the seventeenth series (2001), carded in a two-pack with Zartan (v3).

This was the only version of Shadow Viper ever made.
Accessories:
Shadow Viper came with a black space helmet with a red painted front, a silver backpack, two silver handles (that attached to the backpack), two black laser guns (that attached to the backpack), two medium-length black hoses, and a black figure stand.
Variations:
No variations of Shadow Viper are known to exist.
Body Construction:
Shadow Viper's body was originally used to create Astro Viper (1988). The mold was also shared with Astro Viper (v2) (1993).
