Figure Description:

Zartan (version 4) was released as part of the eighteenth series (2002), carded in a two-pack with Agent Scarlett.

Zartan (version 4) was also released in 2003 with a Mission Disc.

Zartan came with a black Sound Attack buzzsaw, a black pistol, and a black hood.

The packaging also included a color background.

The Mission Disc pack also included Mission Disc 3, featuring two episodes of the cartoon, a game, and a comic. The same disc was also included with the Mission Disc version of Cobra Commander (v13).

Variations:

No variations of Zartan are known to exist.

Body Construction:

Zartan has an entirely new body sculpt. The same mold was used to create Zartan (v5) (2002), Zartan (clear version) (2003), and Zartan (v6) (2003).

Additional points of articulation were added to several new 2002 figures. Zartan has a swivel in his wrists just behind his gloves. Note the return of the O-ring design absent from earlier new figures from 2002.
