Figure Description:

Zartan (version 5) was released as part of the eighteenth series (2002), carded in a two-pack with Sgt. Stalker (v2).

Zartan came with a black Sound Attack buzzsaw, a black pistol, and a maroon hood.

The packaging also included a color background.

Variations:

No variations of Zartan are known to exist.

Some versions of the carded figure two-pack came with a sticker promoting the G.I.Joe cartoons on Cartoon Network.

Body Construction:

The same mold was used to create Zartan (v4) (2002), Zartan (clear version) (2003), and Zartan (v6) (2003).

Additional points of articulation were added to several new 2002 figures. Zartan (v5) has a swivel in his wrists just behind his gloves. Note the return of the O-ring design absent from earlier new figures from 2002.
