Figure Description:

Firefly (v8) was only available at the 2003 G.I.Joe Convention "Defender of Freedom" in San Francisco, CA. The figure was packaged with Firefly (v9).  Also included with the figures was a file card and a Collectors' Club flyer.

Body Construction:

The mold used to create Firefly was originally used in 1984 to create Firefly (V1). The mold was also used to create Firefly (v4) (1998), Firefly (v5) (2000), Firefly (v7) (2002),  Wreckage (2003), Firefly (v9) (2003), Firefly (v11) (2004), and Firefly (v13) (2005).

All but the head was reused to make Firefly (v12) (2005).
