Figure Description:

Grunt (version 5) was released as part of the ninteenth series (2003), packaged with the G.I. Joe Battle Blitz.

Grunt (version 5) was also released in 2004 as part of the Valor vs Venom line, boxed as the driver for the Battle Blitz.

Grunt came with a green helmet.

Note that the Battle Blitz came with a brown machine gun (pictured above) that some collectors may include as a Grunt accessory.

Variations:

The Grunt that was packaged with the Boxed Battle Blitz had silver-painted kneepads (like Grunt v6).

Body Construction:

Grunt (version 5) has an entirely new body sculpt. The mold was later used to create Grunt (v6) (2003) and Grunt (v7) (2003).
