Figure Description:

Recondo (version three) was released as part of the ninteenth series (2003), carded in a two-pack with Iron Grenadier (v2).

Recondo (version three) was also released in 2003 with a Mission Disc as part of the second series.

Recondo (v3) came with a silver Sound Attack shotgun, a brown rifle and an orange-brown ghillie suit.

Several items produced by Hasbro indicate that the ghillie suit belongs with Recondo. This includes promotional photography done for www.gijoe.com and the pamphlet included within the 2-pack itself. The text on the back of the card, as well as the artwork on the package indicate that the ghillie suit belongs to the Iron Grenadier (v2). Because of these inconsistencies, many collectors put this particular accessory with either figure.

Mission Disc

The Mission Disc version of Recondo came with a black rifle, a black knife, and a black backpack.

The Mission Disc pack also included Mission Disc 1 (2nd series), featuring two episodes of the cartoon, a game, and a comic. The same disc was also included with the Mission Disc version of Beachhead (v5).

Body Construction:

Recondo has an entirely new body sculpt. The same mold was used to create Double Clutch (2003). Recondo also featured additional articulation at the wrists and the top of the boots.
