Viper (version nine) was released as part of the ninteenth series (2003), packaged with the Cobra Venom Cycle.

Viper (version nine) was also released in 2004 as part of the Valor vs Venom line, boxed as the driver for the Cobra Venom Cycle.

Accessories:

Cobra Viper came with no accessories.

Variations:

There are two variations of Cobra Viper. Earlier versions had a painted belt and left hip strap (pictured left) while later versions left these areas unpainted. Neither version is more common than the other.

Body Construction:

The same mold was used to create Viper (v5) (1997), Cobra Trooper (v2) (1998), Cobra Officer (v2) (1998), Viper (v6) (2002), Viper (v7) (2002), Viper (v8) (2002), and Viper (v10) (2003).

The head, arms, and torso were used to create the original Viper (1986), Python Viper (1989), and Viper (v3/Sonic Fighters) (1990). The waist and legs were used to create B.A.T.S. (1986).
