Chief Torpedo (version two) was released as part of the twentieth series (2004) as a part of the VAMP (Multi-Purpose Attack Vehicle) with Twin Battle Gun Toys R Us exclusive set. Also included were Big Brawler and Pathfinder.

In 2003, Torpedo was renamed "Chief Torpedo," and in 2008, he was renamed again to "Lt. Torpedo". So while there are several names, they are all based on the character "Torpedo".

Accessories:

The set included a gunmetal-colored carbine rifle that does not necessarily 'belong' to Big Brawler any more than it does Chief Torpedo.

Variations:

There are no known variations of Chief Torpedo.

Body Construction:

Chief Torpedo's head was previously used to create Wet-Suit (v3) (1992), Wet-Suit (v4) (1993), and Torpedo (v3) (1998).

Chief Torpedo's torso, waist, and legs were previously used to create Muskrat (1988) and Muskrat (v2) (1989).

Chief Torpedo's arms were previously used to create Roadblock (v4) (1992), Roadblock (v5) (1993), and Roadblock (v13) (2004).
