Kamakura (version 3) was released as part of the twentieth series (2004), carded in a two-pack with Storm Shadow (v15) as part of the Valor vs Venom line.

Kamakura (version 3) was also released in 2005 as a single carded figure.

The packaging also included a Valor vs Venom Comic and Product Catalog.

Kamakura (v3) has an entirely new body sculpt, but the design is based on Kamakura v2 (2004).
