Storm Shadow (version 13) was released as part of the twentieth series (2004), as part of the K-Mart exclusive Operation Avalanche set.

The Operation Avalanche set included the Assault Quad (v2), two Air Assault gliders, Snake Eyes (v13), Dusty (v8), Iron Grenadier (v2), and Storm Shadow (v13).

In 2006, a Tommy Arashikage figure was released, showing Storm Shadow from his years prior to Cobra and G.I.Joe.

Accessories:

The Operation Avalanche set came with five black guns and two black backpacks. No weapons 'belong' to one figure more than any other.

Variations:

No variations of Storm Shadow are known to exist.

Body Construction:

Storm Shadow (v13) was made from the mold originally used to make Storm Shadow (v7) (2002), Storm Shadow (v8) (2002), and Storm Shadow (v10) (2002).

A slight modification was made to the mold starting with Storm Shadow (v10), the cut under the figure's left arm is deeper allowing the arm to lay closer to its side.
