Major Bludd v7 was released as part of the 2006 G.I.Joe Convention ("Heroes Unite" in New Orleans, LA) exclusive Cobra's Most Wanted: Mercenaries! box set from the Official G.I. Joe Collector's Club. The set included: Cobra Mortal, Major Bludd v7, Overlord v2, six Coil Troopers, and six Skull Squad Troopers.

Major Bludd v7 features the head sculpt of Major Bludd v3 (1994) and Major Bludd v5 (2003). His torso, waist, arms, and legs are made from the sculpt for Long Range (1989).
