Cobra Officer (version five) was released as part of the 2007 International G.I.Joe Convention (Atlanta, GA) exclusive "Tanks for the Memories" box set from the Official G.I. Joe Collectors' Club. The set included: Sparks, Sgt. Flash, Grunt (v10), Lt. Clay Moore, Zap (v4), Clutch (v4), G.I. Joe Doc, Rock 'n Roll (v8), Cobra Officer (v5), and six Cobra Troopers (two each of v7 a, b, and c).

Cobra Officer (version five) was available in a boxed or bagged convention set. The boxed set also included a pin, badge, and certificate of authenticity.

Body Construction:

Cobra Officer (version five) was created using the arms of Baroness (1984), the legs of Cobra (1982), the waist of Scarlett (v4) (2004), and a new head and torso.

The entire mold is shared with Cobra Trooper (v7 a, b, and c).
