Storm Shadow (version twenty-one) was released in COBRA Battle Pack #1, a five pack which also includes COBRA Commander, Destro, Baroness, and COBRA Trooper to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The set also included a G.I. Joe Logo music box.

Storm Shadow (version twenty-one) was later released with the fourth wave of single packs celebrating the 25th Anniversary of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.

Variations:

The Battle Set box has two different plastic insert versions, resulting in different poses of the figure in box.

Storm Shadow was later released carded. Carded Storm Shadows did not include the bow. The carded Storm Shadow did not come with the bow.
