Figure Description:

Firefly was released carded as part of the third series (1984). He was also sold in 1985, then was discontinued domestically in 1986.

Firefly came with a light green submachine gun, a light green walkie-talkie, a gray backpack, and a gray backpack cover.

Variations:

Firefly has been found with two different versions. One version has dark black eyes and eyebrows, while the other version has light brown eyes and eyebrows. Neither version is more difficult to find than the other.

Body Construction:

Firefly's body mold is entirely original and not made up from previous molds. The entire mold was used to create Firefly (v4) (1998), Firefly (v5) (2000), Firefly (v7) (2002),  Wreckage (2003), Firefly (v8) (2003), Firefly (v9) (2003), Firefly (v11) (2004), and Firefly (v13) (2005).

All but the head was reused to make Firefly (v12) (2005).

Note that the figure's head only turns left and right - it does not allow the head to look up and down. The heads only turned left and right until the the swivel ball head that was introduced in 1985 (Series Four).
