Figure Description:

Eels was first released as part of the fourth series (1985). He was also available in 1986 and was discontinued in 1987.

• Version One (1985)
• Version Two (1992)
• Version Three (1993)

Accessories:

Eels came with a black harpoon gun, a black air-mask, two black flippers, a black backpack, and a black jetpack that attached to the backpack.

No variations of Eels are known to exist.

Body Construction:

Eel's body is completely original - all new body parts. None of the parts were re-used in other figures.

Starting with this series (Series Four, 1985), the head joint on G.I.Joe figures was changed into a head "ball". This ball allowed the head to look up and down, in addition to left and right.
