Ripper's Filecard

Figure Description:

Ripper was first released as part of the fourth series (1985). He was also available in 1986 and was discontinued in 1987.

Versions of Ripper:

• Version One (1985)
• Version Two (2002)
• Version Three (2003)
• Version Four (2004)
• Version Five (2005)
• Version Six (2008)

Accessories:

Ripper came with a silver rifle with bayonet, a silver backpack resembling an engine, a silver frame that attached to the backpack, a black hose, and a silver implement-of-destruction that resembles the "jaws of life".

Variations:

There are two versions of Ripper's filecard.

One version of the filecard says, He is a professional cirminal motivated by greed and a malignant dislike for the niceties of civilization -- except for motorcycles.. The other version of the filecard does not have the "-- except for motorcycles" text.

Body Construction:

Ripper's body is completely original - all new body parts.

Note that Ripper's head only turns left and right - it does not have the head "ball" that allowed a figure's head to swivel back and forth. Other figures from this series had the new head "ball". It's clear that this figure was designed in 1984.

International Variants:

In India, two versions of Ripper were released - one version had a green shirt with purple spots, while the other version had a purple shirt.
