Figure Description:

Tele-Vipers were first released as part of the fourth series (1985). They were also available in 1986 and were discontinued in 1987.

Versions of Tele-Vipers:

• Version One (1985)
• Version Two (1989)
• Version Three (2003)
• Version Four (2004)
• Version Five (2005)
• Version Six (2008)

Accessories:

Tele-Vipers came with a black scanner, a black packpack, and a black hose that attached the scanner to the backpack.

Variations:

No variations of Tele-Vipers are known to exist.

Body Construction:

Tele-Viper's body is completely original - all new body parts.

The chest/torso piece was re-used in 1986 to create Claymore. The entire mold was re-used in 1989 to create Python Tele-Viper.

Starting with this series (Series Four, 1985), the head joint on G.I.Joe figures was changed into a head "ball". This ball allowed the head to look up and down, in addition to left and right.
