Sneak Peek's Filecard

Figure Description:

Sneak Peek was first released as part of the sixth series (1987). He was also available in 1988 and was discontinued in 1989.

Webmaster's Note:

On Sneak Peek's filecard, the character's name is "Owen S. King". Owen King is the son of famous horror author Stephen King. Legend has it that Hasbro named Sneak Peek after Owen, who at the time was a huge G.I.Joe fan, because Stephen King created the character Crystal Ball.

Accessories:

Sneak Peek came with a green tower, a green tower handle, a black walkie-talkie, black binoculars, a black M-16, and a black mouthpiece.

Variations:

No variations of Sneak Peek are known to exist.

Body Construction:

Sneak Peek's body is completely original - all new body parts.

Sneak Peek's entire body and mold were re-used for the 1988 Night Force Sneak Peek (v2).

Note that there is a hook on right side of Sneak Peek's waist. There is also a hole on the side of Sneak Peek's head for the mouthpiece.

International Variants:

In the United Kingdom and Europe, Sneak Peek was recolored and released as Tiger Force Sneak Peek.

In Brazil, Sneak Peek was recolored to be part of Forca Eco and named Biosfera.
