Figure Description:
Countdown was first released carded as part of the eighth series (1989). He was also sold in 1990 and was discontinued domestically in 1991.

Accessories:
Countdown came with a silver gun, a silver backpack, a silver grappling hook and silver weight attached by black string, and a large white, blue, and silver helmet.
Instructions how to assemble the backpack were printed on the cardback behind the action figure.

There are no known variations of Countdown.

Body Construction:
Countdown's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures.
Countdown's entire mold was later recolored and re-used to create Countdown (v2) and Countdown (v3). The arms were later recolored and re-used to create Space Shot (1994).
