Dhalsim's Filecard

Figure Description:

Dhalsim was released carded in the twelfth series (1993) as part of Capcom's Street Fighter 2 subset. The Street Fighter 2 figures were numbered 1 through 12 - Dhalsim was number 8.

He was discontinued domestically in 1994.

Versions of Dhalsim:

This was the only version of Dhalsim ever released.

A Street Fighter Movie version of Dhalsim was released in 1994, but the Street Fighter Movie figures are not considered G.I.Joe figures.

Accessories:

Dhalsim came with a purple bow, two purple swords, a purple sickle, two purple knives, and a purple figure stand.

All of Dhalsim's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree". The accessories were removed from the tree.

Variations:

There are no known variations of Dhalsim.

Body Construction:

Dhalsim's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures and no parts were ever re-used.

The body was designed with a martial arts action - "Fire Fist." Dhalsim's right arm could be pushed back, then released, causing it to spring forward in a upper-cut punching motion.
