Mirage's Filecard

Figure Description:

Mirage was released carded as part of the twelfth series (1993) as part of the Mega Marines subset.

He was discontinued domestically in 1994.

Versions of Mirage:

• Version One (1993)
• Version Two (2002)
• Version Three (2002)
• Version Four (2003)
• Version Five (2005)

Accessories:

Mirage came with two green rifles, a green knife, a blue missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), two green missiles, a green figure stand, blue armor, and a cannister of "moldable bio-armor".

The "moldable bio-armor" was Play-Doh that could be molded onto the figure using the purple armor piece.

Except for the missile launcher, armor, and cannister of Play-Doh, all of Mirage's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree". The accessories were removed from the tree.

Mirage's goggles are glued onto his head. They can be removed, but they cannot be re-attached.

Variations:

There are no known variations of Mirage.

Body Construction:

Mirage's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures. The entire mold was re-used in 2002 to create Mirage (v2) and Mirage (v3), and in 2003 to create Mirage (v4).
