Figure Description:

Outback (version 3) was released carded as part of the twelfth series (1993).

This version of Outback was originally intended to be part of the 1993 Eco-Warrior subset. When the Eco-Warrior subset was cancelled, this version was released on normal G.I.Joe Battle Corps cards. It was quickly replaced by a repainted Outback (v4) that same year.

The 1993 Battle Corps figures were numbered 1 through 36 - Outback was number 13. This version of Outback was discontinued in 1993.

Accessories:

Outback came with three red rifles, a dark blue/purple missile launcher (spring loaded, that actually fired), two red missiles, and a red figure stand.

Except for the missile launcher, all of Outback's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree". The accessories were removed from the tree.

Body Construction:

Outback's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures.

The entire mold of Outback was later used to create Outback (v4).
