Figure Description:

Action Marine was available individually boxed in the thirteenth series (1994).

He was also available in a G.I.Joe 30th Anniversary boxed set. The boxed set included the Action Soldier, Action Sailor (orange), Action Pilot (blue), and Action Pilot Astronaut.

Action Marine was discontinued in 1994.

Versions of Action Marine:

This was the only version of Action Marine ever released.

Accessories:

Action Marine came with a black rifle, a green backpack, a green missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), a black missile, a two-piece black raft, a black oar, and a plug to connect the oar to the raft.

Except for the missile launcher and backpack, all of Action Marine's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree," with the raft bottom attached to the raft top. The accessories were removed from the tree.

Variations:

The picture on Action Marine's filecard was either a photograph of the prototype figure or a painting taken from the card art.

Body Construction:

Action Marine's chest and arms were also used to create G.I.Joe (1994), while Action Marine's head was shared with Action Soldier. The Action Marine's upper left leg was shared with Action Pilot, Action Soldier, and G.I.Joe.

While not an action figure exactly, in 1998 the mold was used to create the Action Marine Keychain.
