Figure Description

This special version of Capt Grid-Iron was available carded in India. G.I.Joe toys in India were produced by the Funskool toy company.

Accessories:

Capt Grid-Iron came with a black rifle, four orange missiles, a yellow helmet, a yellow backpack, two silver football grenades, and a clear visor.

The accessories are similar to the U.S. versions, except colored differently.

Variants:

Two versions of Capt Grid-Iron have been found - one version (pictured left) has yellow arms with camouflage markings. The second version (pictured right) has green upper arms and yellow fore-arms with no markings. Their legs are also colored slightly differently.

Body Construction:

The figure is made from the exact same mold of the U.S. release of Capt Grid-Iron (1990) - but the Indian version is colored very differently.

In addition, the Indian plastic used is of a lower quality.
