Chameleon Bootleg
Click for close-up
Because of their popularity, G.I.Joe action figures were often imitated by foreign toy companies, trying to cash in on G.I.Joe's popularity. The results were... interesting, to say the least.
Pictured above is a bootleg version of Chameleon. While the copycat molding did an capable job with the accessories, the complex articulation is completely lost on the figure itself. The figure was cheaply produced - poorly articulated and sloppily painted.
This particular bootleg was found in a store in the Phillipines in 2001.
