Hasbro Offer: 8" Sgt Slaughter Figure

In late 1986, Hasbro offered an 8" version of Sgt Slaughter available via mail-order. The figure was in scale with the other 8" Hasbro wrestling figures made. However unlike most earlier mail-order offers, the 8" Slaughter offer wasn't very heavily promoted.

Pictured above is an advertisement from G.I.Joe Magazine, promoting the 8" Sgt Slaughter figure. Note that in the background are other 8" wrestling action figures, such as Hulk Hogan, the Iron Sheik, Hillbilly Jim, and Jesse "the Body" Ventura.
