Pictured is the "For G.I.Joe Team Members Only!" insert that was packaged with G.I.Joe vehicles and playsets sold in the United States in 1984. The insert advertised several mail-in offers from Hasbro Direct - both vehicles that were no longer sold in stores, mail-in exclusives, along with an offer to join the official G.I.Joe fan club.

The following year, the insert was reprinted in green instead of tan.

The items available were the FLAK (Field Light Attack Cannon), JUMP (Jet Unit Mobile Propulsion) jet pack, MANTA (Marine Assault Nautical Transport: Air-driven), HAL (Heavy Artillery Laser), Hooded Cobra Commander, MMS (Mobile Missile System), two G.I.Joe posters, and a set of head and wrist bands.
