Pictured above is a hand-painted prototype of Blowtorch (2002) as the figure appeared in a 2002 insert catalog. Notable differences include the hand-painted logo, the solid black eyes, and the gold shin armor with green boots.

The figure appears above with a black backpack that has a sound attack tab on the opposite side of what was actually produced.

The above version of Blowtorch is much closer to the produced version. However, the slightly different waist indicates that it is not. Another point of interest is the lack of a sound attack tab on the red backpack.
