Description:
Pictured above is a hand-painted prototype of Flint
(2002) as the figure appeared in a 2002 insert catalog. Notable differences
include completely black eyes, slightly different camouflage pattern,
and the choice of accessories.

Pictured above left is the same figure. Above right is the Flint that
appeared at the 2002 International G.I.Joe Convention in Norfolk, Virginia.
The second figure has detailed eyes and a G.I.Joe logo on the left leg.
It is likely that the secodn figure was not simply the first with details
added due to the similarity, yet differences in the camouflage.
