Description:
Pictured above is a prototype version of Barbecue
(1989) as the figure appeared in the 1989 yearly insert catalog. The
figure appears to be pictured with the accessories from the original
Barbecue (1985), including the orange backpack tanks. More notable is
the fact that the color pattern is applied slightly differently when
compared to the production version.

A similar figure also appeared in a Hasbro product catalog. However,
note that in the axe and backpack are green and that the paint on the
figure is slightly different as evidenced by the dark green on the upper
legs.
