Zap

Description:

The very first step in creating action figures involved pen-ink drawings. If these drawings passed, they'd be colored in and color schemes would be proposed.

Pictured above is the colored pen-ink art of Zap (1991).


Description:

Pictured above is and early version of Zap (1991) as the figure appeared in a Hasbro product catalog. Note that the backpack/mini tank is painted completely silver, including the buttons.

While it is unknown if the figure was ever intended to include a bipod, the package art depicts a bipod attached to the weapon pictured above in the figure's right hand. This bipod appears to be attached where the accessory seems to have a socket for one.
