This version of Guile also appeared in a Hasbro product catalog.

After molds were created and/or assembled, they would be used to press
out a run of "First shots" or "Test shots". These
test shots were done in many different colors and lacked a date stamp
until the production run began. Pictured above is a Guile test shot
that is unpainted.

As something of a mystery, pictured above is another version of Guile
as he appeared in a 1994 Hasbro product catalog. Advertising the non-G.I.Joe
Street Fighter The Movie figures, this prototype Guile has a very similar
paint sheme and lacks an o-ring construction. This figure stands as
a strange prototype due to the unlikelihood that Hasbro would have released
another figure with the same paint scheme. It should also be noted that
some of the Street Fighter The Movie prototypes did make use of the
G.I.Joe logo. While the head pictured is the same sculpt as the G.I.Joe
release of Guile (1993), the body
pictured was used to create the two-pack version of Colonel
Guile (1994).
