Action figures usually start as "Hard Copies". These models
are used to create the molds, that are used to press out a run of "First
shots" or "Test shots". These test shots are done in
many different colors and lack a date stamp until the production run
begins.
Pictured above is a test shot made of a figure that was planned for
production in 1995. The toyline was cancelled, so this figure was never
produced. The entire figure is unpainted, and there is no date stamp.
Note that the legs and waist were originally used to create Lamprey
(1985).
While the figure itself has no name It appears that it may be Battle
Rangers Flint as depicted in the artwork above. However, because a defeinite
identification of the character did not accompany the figure (nor does
it appear on the schematic below), some feel that it could have been
another character that could have shared parts with Flint or have had
parts that look similar to Flint.

After the original concept art was approved, detailed schematics would
be drawn up to be used to create the actual pieces. Pictured above is
the schematics artwork for an unnamed figure that would have been released
in 1995.
While the schematic is clearly the same figure that appears above,
the arms in the schematic appear to be different.
