Pictured above is the Star Brigade War Dog. It was intended to be part of the Star Brigade assortment in 1995, but was cancelled when the G.I.Joe line was cancelled in 1994.

The prototype War Dog was made using from various components including a Mattel Hot Wheels Sandstinger from the Attack Pack line (1993), a Kenner Jurassic Park Dimetrodon (1993), and the gun from Heavy Duty (1991). Because of the use of non-Hasbro toys for this prototype, it is likely that this War Dog was just a design concept figure, and not meant to be produced exactly as is.
