Hand Painted Resin Prototype - Barracuda Sub



Before prototype test-shots are designed, resin models were created to create the molds. One of those resin models would be hand painted to provide the final color scheme for the produced figures.

Pictured above is the painted resign model of the Cobra Barracuda Sub (1993).

Interestingly enough, the entire Barracuda in this prototype is painted black. When the toy was produced, there were two variants - one is blue on top and black on the bottom, the other is black on top and blue on the bottom.
