Unproduced Desert HQ Pathfinder
Pictured above is a repainted prototype Pathfinder action figure that was scheduled to be a part of
the 1998 Real American Hero line. (Which was sold exclusively in Toys-R-Us
retail stores.)
The figure was to be included in a desert themed repaint set which was to
include a G.I. JOE Headquarters with three figures also in desert camouflage uniforms
- placeholder names for the figures were: Pathfinder, Outback*, and Dial-Tone.
The Headquarters set was cancelled and was not released.
*Note: There is no confirmation that the Outback figure was planned to be called Rock & Roll for the set.
