Prototype: Air Defense Vehicle
This prototype was displayed as one of the cards in the G.I.Joe 30th Salute Trading Card set.
"This Air Defense Vehicle was designed with the theme of commonality in mind. It was created to utilize the body, chassis, wheels, front bumper, and
other components from the GI Joe Hammer vehicle, along with a new rear
deck/cab and new turret with guns and missiles. The turret swiveled, and the
guns and missiles elevated in unison. The sextuplet missile launcher provided
multiple firepower. Created in 1992, the model never progressed beyond
protoype stage."
