Prototype Concept Art: Black Female Figure
This prototype was displayed as one of the cards in the G.I.Joe 30th Salute Trading Card set.
"As the GI Joe television show gained popularity in the early 1980s, Hasbro
made plans to introduce a black female character to the team. Market
research showed that female characters, especially Lady Jaye, Scarlett, and
the Baroness, appealed to the GI Joe TV audience. However, this project was
dropped when Hasbro decided that female action figures would be poor
business, and the character was never given a name."
