Australian G.I.Joe Comic Book #1 Intro Page

Pictured above is the first page from the Australian G.I.Joe Comic Book #1. The adventures from Marvel Comics were reprinted in black and white by Cyclone Comics and published in Australia beginning in 1989.

The comic book introduced a new G.I.Joe character named "Digger" - who looked like Recondo but spoke with Australian slang. Digger introduced the story and returned at the end of the story. The book reprinted G.I.Joe Special Missions #1.
