In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Hasbro began to sell G.I.Joe toys in Greece. The packaging for the toys sold in Greece were done in English - with some toys having some Greek text on the back.

The toys manufactured for sale in Europe were of the same high quality as the U.S. versions. The plastic quality is indistinguishable from the U.S. versions. The packaging card stock was also of comparable quality.
