Italy
Like most Western European countries in the early 1980s, Palitoy sold Action Force toys in Italy. The earliest Action Force toys were entirely original, while later Action Force toys were exclusive repaints of American figures.
By 1987, the term "Action Force" was dropped, Palitoy ceased to make toys, and Hasbro began to sell "G.I.Joe" toys in Italy. The packaging for the toys sold in Italy was done in Italian.
The toys manufactured for sale in Europe were of the same high quality as the U.S. versions. The plastic quality is indistinguishable from the U.S. versions. The packaging card stock was also of comparable quality.
