Mexico
G.I.Joe figures were first sold in Mexico in 1985 by the toy company, Quriken under the logo Commandos Heroicos. Figures were sold in special boxes, with a window through which you could see the figure. The molds used by Quriken were from the old Brazilian Estrela molds, so small differences seen in Brazilian figures can also be found in Mexican figures.
Starting in the 1990s, G.I.Joe toys were simply sold in Mexico by Hasbro.
In 1994, specially recolored versions of the three Lunartix alien figures were sold only in Mexico. The packaging was in English, except for Spanish language stickers placed over the card.
In 2001, G.I.Joe toys re-appeared in Mexico in English language packaging with Spanish-language stickers placed on them.
