![]() Mexico - VagabundoFront Close Up Back Close Up Filecard Close Up Among the most unusual international offerings of G.I.Joe are the G.I.Joe figures sold in Mexico. Packaged and sold by Hasbro in the late 1980s, figures sold in Mexico were not packaged with bubbles on cards. Instead, they were sold in large, attractive window boxes. Pictured above is the boxed straight-arm Grunt - named Soldado Infanteria, Nombre Clave: Vagabundo. The entire box is in Spanish. The figure itself is almost exactly like the U.S. version. The filecard for the figure was written on the backside of the flap. Note that the box artwork depicts Footloose - not Grunt. From the collection of: David Croft |
