Netherlands
Like most Western European countries in the early 1980s, Palitoy sold Action Force toys in Netherlands. The earliest Action Force toys were entirely original, while later Action Force toys were exclusive repaints of American figures.
By 1987, the term "Action Force" was dropped, Palitoy ceased to make toys, and Hasbro began to sell "G.I.Joe" toys in the Netherlands.
Action Force and G.I.Joe toys sold in Netherlands were printed in several languages, including Flemmish and Dutch. In later years, the documenation and packaging was usually done in several languages - such as Dutch and French, or Dutch and German.
The toys manufactured for sale in the Netherlands were of the same high quality as the U.S. versions. The plastic quality is indistinguishable from the U.S. versions. The packaging card stock was also of comparable quality.
Note: Many of the Dutch language items below were also available in Belgium.
