United Kingdom
Like most Western European countries in the early 1980s, Palitoy
sold Action Force toys in
the United Kingdom. The earliest Action Force toys were entirely
original, while later Action Force toys were exclusive repaints of American
figures.
In 1986, "Action Force" was renamed to "G.I.Joe: The Action Force".
In 1987, the term "Action Force" was dropped altogether and Hasbro began
to sell "G.I.Joe" toys in Europe. The packaging for the toys sold in the
UK were in English.
The toys manufactured for sale in Europe were of the same high quality
as the U.S. versions. The plastic quality is indistinguishable from the
U.S. versions. The packaging card stock was also of comparable quality.
