A few tidbits from this tumultous week-
Firstly, if you haven't already ordered it, get down to your local comic book store and pick up the new G.I.Joe #1. Find out more about the new comic book at http://www.gijoecomic.com.
Someone in Mexico sent us images of the A.W.E. Striker, but with Spanish language packaging. So far, this is the only localized G.I.Joe toy that they've seen there, but hopefully there'll be more to come! Images of it are coming soon.
Lastly, a big thank you to the many International G.I.Joe fans who sent in email to us asking if we were okay after the tragedies in New York City and Washington DC this week. While I am in California, physically far away from the events in the East Coast, a tragic event like Tuesday makes the United States seem like a very small place.
I'll leave you with this quote that someone sent me after the events this week. Stay safe, everyone.
"The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." -- Martin Luther King Jr.
