Just who are the two guys on the Desert Striker box supposed to be? They're both in Flint's uniform. Is this the first time non-figure characters have appeared on box art?
They're Hasbro employees. You're right - as far as I know, it might be the first time that a non-G.I.Joe figure has appeared on the box.
is it possible to get the background music from gi joe the movie?
Unfortunately, no. The background music has never been made available to the public.
i bought the zartan-shadow viper pack and the label on the front
incorrectly names them big brawler and tripwire, now i have big brawler and
tripwire and i know what zartan is supposed to look like so im not mistaken,
have you heard of this mistake elswhere? and is this error pack more valuable?
While mistakes like that are really rare and unusual, they almost always lower the value of the figures. It's considered an imperfection - and twenty years from now, when someone wants to buy a perfect MOC Zartan/Shadow Viper, they will pay you less because of the imperfection.
Where can I buy weapons and accessories for my Joes? Remember those weapons packs they used to sell?
The accessory packs have not been available for sale since 1988. To find accessories, try searching Ebay and the Yo Joe Classifieds.
Has anybody seen or hear of any Lego G. I. Joe sets being made? If so,
when will they be coming out, and what stores will be selling them?
Customizers have made custom G.I.Joe Legos. But in Toyfare magazine, Lego stated flatly that they have no plans to ever produce G.I.Joe legos.
On the Locust helecopter, the names below the canopy/cockpit are Wm. Hardy and M/Sgt Sean C. McLaughlin. Who is this McLaughlin character?
Sean C McLaughlin is SideTrack.
I would like to receive a complete list of GI Joe releases in Brazil, since 1984.
Unfortunately, we don't have a complete list - the information we have is at http://www.yojoe.com/international/brazil/. We recommend trying the Brazilian G.I.Joe website at http://www.fortunecity.com/marina/pontoon/164/.
Any chance that you can host cartoon episodes?
No, there'd be way too many problems with hosting episodes online. In addition to slowing down our site even further by using more bandwidth, Hasbro and Kid Rhino visit our site and wouldn't appreciate us doing that.
I'm looking for a Transformers website that is similar to YOJOE.COM - with stuff like pictures of the toys, accessories, filecards, etc.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any websites that are exactly like ours except with Transformers. You might want to try two of the bigger Transformer web sites out there - http://www.bigbot.com and http://www.transfans.com/.
Other webistes have knockout splash pages and great background music. Why is Yojoe.com so boring? I approach this website with a yawn. When will you make Yojoe.com more exciting?
We've had polls in the past where we've asked our site visitors if they want more content or more flash and graphics. Overwhelmingly, we've been told to add more content. So instead of spending time making YOJOE.COM a multimedia experience, we've concentrated on packing it full of as much information as possible.
Think of YOJOE.COM as an encyclopedia - you use it when you need to learn more about G.I.Joe. If you want to be entertained, try some of the other great G.I.Joe web sites.
At some point in the future, when we have some time, we may revisit the idea of redoing the look of the pages to be more "catchy". Or if any of you graphic artists out there have any ideas for fixing up our pages, send your ideas our way. But until then, the Vehicle Archive alone needs three hundred or more pictures before it's completed...
