G.I. Joe voice actors Michael Bell (Duke, Clutch, Blow Torch, Lift Ticket, Major Blood, Scrap-Iron, Tollbooth, Xamot, and many others), Greg Berger (Firefly, Ripcord, Sparks, Spirit, Cutter, Colonel Brekhov), Dave Hall (Col. Sharpe), and Keone Young (Storm Shadow) will appear at the Sunday, October 9, 2005 Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention. Each actor is donating his autograph fee of $10.00 (which includes a photo) to the American Red Cross to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. Michael Bell and Greg Berger also did several key voices for the Transformers. Joining them will be Alan Oppenheimer, the voice of Skeletor from Masters of the Universe, as well as several voices from the Transformers. It is advised to bring some G.I. Joe items for the actors to sign just in case they only bring photos from their recent work. The event takes place at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center, 700 West 32nd Street, in Los Angeles, CA.
