The Assault Quad (Operation Avalanche) was released boxed in U.S. toy stores as part of the K-Mart Exclusive Operation Avalanche boxed set. The set included the Assault Quad, two Air Assault gliders, Snake Eyes (v13), Dusty (v7), Iron Grenadiers (v2), and Storm Shadow (v13).
The Assault Quad (Operation Avalanche) was part of the Valor vs. Venom line and featured a firing missile, swiveling gun platform, and rolling wheels.
The Assault Quad (Operation Avalanche) uses the mold of the Assault Quad (2002) with a gun from the Venom Striker (2004).
