Description:

The JUMP Jet Pack [Jet Mobile Propulsion Unit] with action figure was released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1983. The box included the pilot, Grand Slam (v2). The JUMP with action figure was discontinued in 1984.

The JUMP was originally sold in 1982 without the action figure.

Left-over stock was sold by Hasbro Direct via mail-order from between 1985 and 1987.

Driver/Pilot: Grand Slam (v2)

Grand Slam (v2) - also known as Silver Pads Grand Slam - was part of the second series (1983), packaged exclusively with the JUMP Jet Pack.

Prior to this point, the JUMP Jet Pack was sold without a figure. Grand Slam was discontinued in 1984.

At some point, Grand Slam (v2) may have been available mail-order through Hasbro Direct.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces:

Take extra care with the sight piece of the laser cannon - it's a thin piece and it can sometimes break off. In addition, the black power cord is lost easily.


Variations:

The blaster came with one of two sized peg-holes for the power cord.
